Why a new number — not just plug into my existing line?
Tenno is a dedicated phone line, not a forwarding rule. Owning the line lets us answer every call instantly, scale up automatically when you're busy, and guarantee every interaction is logged, transcribed, and summarised. You don't have to give up your existing number — most customers run Tenno alongside it as their bookings or enquiries line, putting it on their website and Google Business listing while keeping their old number for known customers.
What kind of number will I get?
A real Irish business number — fully owned by your business and assigned only to you. We confirm the specifics of the line on the kickoff call. The goal is a number that reads as a credible Irish business contact on your website, signage, and Google Business listing.
What happens to my existing business number?
You keep it. Three common setups: (a) run Tenno alongside as your bookings line — it goes on your website and Google listing while your existing number stays for regulars and suppliers; (b) forward your existing number to Tenno after hours or during busy periods only; (c) migrate fully to Tenno over time. Your call — we'll talk you through it on setup.
Can it transfer urgent calls to my mobile?
Yes — on the Pro tier and above. The AI handles the call, qualifies who's ringing and why, and asks the caller if they want to be put through. If you pick up, you get a live handoff with a brief context summary. If you can't, the AI takes the message and texts you.
Does it actually sound like a person?
Most callers don't realise within the first 30 seconds. The voice is conversational, handles interruptions, and adjusts tone naturally. If a caller asks directly whether they're talking to an AI, we instruct it to say yes — we don't deceive anyone.
What if it can't answer something?
It takes a clean message, flags the call as needing follow-up, and texts you immediately so you can ring the customer back yourself. Nothing gets dropped silently.
How long does setup take?
We're typically live within 24 hours of the kickoff call. We provision your number, write the script with you, test it together, and you start using the number whenever you're ready.
Are setup and integrations extra?
Launch setup is a fixed €300 once-off. It includes your Tenno number, call script, testing, and one calendar, booking, or CRM integration such as Fresha, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Google Calendar, or Outlook. Multi-location rollouts or bespoke workflows are handled on the Custom plan, so the standard plans stay simple.
Where is the data stored?
EU data centres only. GDPR-compliant. 90-day retention by default, configurable on the Custom tier. Full DPA available on request.
Is there a contract?
No. Monthly billing, 30 days notice to cancel. First month is money-back if Tenno doesn't book at least 5 appointments for you. If you cancel, you give up the Tenno number — so most customers either commit to it as their primary line or treat it as a parallel bookings line they can put on their website without disrupting their main number.
